
Before you go to the gym you should know many important things. Here are some of the most frequently gym training mistakes:
1.“All or nothing” – some people consider that if they don’t train at least one hour at the gym it doesn’t have any effect. The studies show that only 10 minutes a day of training brings benefits to your health.
2.Unbalanced strength training program – most of the people tend to focus only on certain muscular groups as the biceps or the belly because these ones are more visible than other muscles. For a healthy and strong body you must work all your important muscular groups.
3.Poor physical shape – the most certain way to get yourself an injury is the lack of accurate training. In you are using inertia when you lift weights ( you throw it instead of lifting it slowly) and you don’t make the exercises properly , you will get poor results.
4.Not having a steady and smart program – if you train too much, too hard or too often you will not have good results. This problem is frequently seen at beginners. The periods of resting and the gradual progress are the key to an efficient and healthy training program.
5.Insufficient variation – Some people find a gym program suitable for themselves at a moment of time and never change it. This has negative effects because your body will not respond to the training after a period of time and you will get bored doing this exercise
6.Lack of concentration at the training – It is extremely important for you to be concentrated on your exercise. If you go to the gym and you start admiring the ladies or to have fun with your friends during your practice you might as well give up the whole training session. Even if you are training at home, it is recommended not to watch the TV, because the quality of your work will be seriously lower.
7.Incorrect cooling down after the training – Many of those who go to the gym, immediately after finishing their practice, quickly pack their equipment and go to the showers or directly home. It is very important to stay several minutes in order to adjust your blood pressure back to normal. Some stretching exercises during this time are recommended not only because you will improve your flexibility but also you will have less muscular fever.
